Solarstone®’s Solar Carport is made of strong, galvanized steel that’s tough enough for coastal areas where rust is common. It has a quality certification and meets industry standards. The solar panels can handle the weight of about 551 kg of snow each, and the frame can support up to 150 kg per square meter of snow when installed on a flat surface. The carport is securely fixed to the ground and can resist winds of at least 28 meters per second, with the option to add extra anchors for even stronger wind resistance.

Can I charge my car even when the sun isn't shining?
Yes, you can! While the Solar Carport generates power when the sun shines, it’s also connected to your home’s electrical system. This means you can charge your car 7/24, regardless of the weather conditions.
Can I store the excess energy generated by the Solar Carport?
Yes, the Solar Carport can be paired with energy storage systems. This means any excess energy generated by the solar panels during sunny days can be stored and used later, optimizing your energy consumption and ensuring you make the most out of the solar power generated.
How long does it take to charge an average electric car using an integrated EV charger?
A 22 kW charger with a Type 2 charging cable will add 100 km of range per hour to the average electric car (provided the car can handle this charging rate). Dynamic load control system can be purchased as an optional feature.
Who handles the installation and preparations?
Solar House Concept provides a complete service, from consultation to installation. If there are specific site preparations, like leveling the ground or setting up foundational supports, the homeowner or a chosen contractor might need to manage these. Once the site is ready, Solar House Concept team will start installation process.
